| SOAR
The students of SJS need your help! We are in the midst of preparing for our SOAR Development Dinner which is on November 23rd. Funds raised at SOAR our vital to our school, our students, and our community. You can have an impact on our efforts whether or not you attend. We are in need of sponsors, auction items, monetary donations, and gift cards. Any donation can be forwarded to the school office.
Currently on our auction site (http://bidpal.net/soar2019), you can make a donation of any amount or purchase a chance to win a Pit Boss Pellet Grill, LG 4K 55″ TV, or an Apple Watch! Only $20 for a chance to win one of these super cool items. Purchase a chance on the auction site today! Winners will be drawn at the event, but you need not be present to win. You can also bid on silent auction items on the website beginning in early November. Again, any gift will help us continue to do great things at SJS. Thank you for spreading the word to family and friends.

Spirit Dress Down Day Monday, October 7th. Students may wear jeans, wind/sweat pants or uniform shorts with a spirit shirt.

| You are invited to join the SJS Life Runners chapter!
We are starting a chapter of Life Runners at SJS. Life Runners is a pro-life group for 5th-8th graders. There is no running involved! Life Runners at SJS love all people, take action to help others, have fun, and are student-led. We meet and wear our shirts to school (with uniform bottoms) every first Wednesday of the month starting October 2nd at 7:10 a.m. To sign up, please go to the website liferunners.org and follow these instructions. Then, check off and sign the bottom portion of this page and return it, along with payment for the shirt to school. We will place another order for shirts for students to wear in November.
