7 January Virtual Backpack

Uniform Check Perhaps it is time to look at your student’s uniform for the 2nd semester.  Kids do grow quickly.  Uniforms send the message of solidarity and help us avoid a variety of social issues.  Don’t forget to check the Dennis Uniform website https://www.dennisuniform.com/schools/P12 before you make a uniform purchase to make sure it meets school requirements.

Help Needed:  We are looking for some help in replacing our flagpole rope. This requires a lift. If you can help, or know someone who can, please contact the office.

Track Interest Parent Meeting- Track at SJS is getting a make-over
When: Thursday Jan. 13, 7pm
Where: SEA parish center

Track at SJS will look quite a bit different this year. If you have a 6th-8th grade son or daughter that is interested in this sport at all, this meeting is definitely something you want to send a parent or guardian to for important information.  Registration will be opening after the meeting. One example of a change is that track practices will no longer be right after school at SJS. Come to the meeting to find out all the details.

Parent Participation Hours The Parent Participation program is back again for this school year.  Essentially, we want every family to volunteer to help the school or church.  This helps both you and the school.  Most every activity will count for your participation hours.  20 hours for a 2 parent family and 10 hours for a single parent are the expectations.  See more details in the attachment.  Volunteer opportunities can be found @ https://stjamesseton.ivolunteer.com/#1.
