SJS Field DayTuesday, May 10th is for grades K-6.  Each classroom teacher assigned their class a specific color shirt to be worn for field day along non uniform shorts, but they must be appropriate length. sweatpants or jeans.

VOLLEYBALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR FALL 2022
Register Here: https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/313974 In order to allow teams to begin practice by Aug. 1 of next season we must have registration complete before the end of the year. If your grade level has enough girls to have two teams (An A and a B) we will host tryouts before the end of this school year. Please register by May 6th. If your grade level needs a tryout you will be informed by May 8th. Please register your daughter in the grade they are going into next school year, not their current grade.

PS…. when choosing a uniform size please remember they run small and girls typically like to size up at least 1 size.

Children’s Scholarship of Omaha is a nonprofit organization that funds scholarships to private schools.  There are requirements to apply and an application process.  We encourage you to pursue this opportunity as the finances would help the school.  We are asking all families that request financial assistance from SJS to start with the CSF process.  Continued support from SJS funds is contingent upon applying to CSF.  You can apply now, and the deadline is May 6th.

Joy of Giving is a 24-hour period of giving to benefit the schools, parishes, ministries, and organizations of the Archdiocese of Omaha. Knights of Columbus Council will be hosting a fundraiser for Ukraine on Friday, May 20th.  See flyer for detail on how to participate.

St. James Parish Festival is scheduled for Sunday, July 24 and we need volunteers to help make this year’s festival a success.

We have several opportunities including set-up, clean-up and working during festival.  Even the kids can get involved! Students 6th grade and up can earn service hours (scouts, school, confirmation, etc) running the carnival games.    Younger students can help with adult assistance.

Marian Summer Camps Now is the time to try something new!  We have sessions dedicated to art and creativity, science, music and athletics.
