Dress Code Check Easter break provides an opportunity to address any dress code needs. Check the Dennis Uniform website before making any purchases. Please review the following requirements from the uniform policy:
Boys are to have neatly trimmed hair with at least half of the ears exposed and hair not touching the top of the collar. Hair on the forehead cannot touch the eyebrows. No artificial highlights or hair coloring is allowed.
Girls’ bangs are not to touch/cover the eyebrows. Long bangs are to be pinned back. No unnatural artificial hair coloring is allowed (this includes colored faux hair clips/inserts). No fake fingernails are permitted.
Cub Scouts Interested in Cub Scouts? Pack 380 wants to invite any interested boys and their families to our April pack meeting. Any boy entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall can join our pack, you don’t have to attend St. James/Seton school or have been in scouts previously to join. The meeting is Friday, April 21st starting at 7pm in the St. James/Seton Gym. We are going to have the Omaha Percussion Group put on a live performance so please come and enjoy the show! NestFest Talk about SWEET success! Stay up-to-date on all things Nest Fest via https://www.sjshsa.org/nest-fest-2023. We have now earned $10,660 and all SJS students, admin, teachers, and staff will receive a FREE NestFest t-shirt to be worn during our LIVE CandyLand game at our NestFest celebration. Students have been earning extra recess all week! Thank you also to everyone who has been donating to our event through the donation of items, time, and talent. We couldn’t do this without you.

Our next All School Goal is $15,000 and students will receive a free dress down day. Maybe mention how SWEET it is at SJS (and NestFest) at your Easter celebrations this weekend. We are so blessed at SJS!
Uniform Shorts As of April 1st,students are able to wear uniform shorts. All uniform shorts for students in Grades 5-8 must have belt loops and a belt must be worn for those grade levels as well. You can visit the Dennis Uniform website if you have questions regarding uniform pieces. **The only shorts allowed on an out of uniform day are uniform shorts.
Gilbride Scholarship Final Reminder that the 2023 Rick Gilbride Scholarship Application are due this Friday, April 7th!!!!!!

Drop Off Why not try the drop off lane?! There are two drop off options in the morning in front of the school and on Tomahawk. The 4th quarter is a good time to give your student some independence and let them walk into school themselves via the drop off lanes. Thanks for considering this option.

Summer Camps at Marian Do it all at Marian! We have summer sessions dedicated to art, science, reading and athletics – all focused on the needs and interests of girls!
Build a schedule that works for you. Take a course or two, or fill up your day. Camps are for rising 3rd-8th grade girls, and all programs are taught by Marian faculty and coaches.
