Good Neighbors  It’s a goal for the school to be a good neighbor to those families who live near the school.  Certainly, living near an elementary school can have its share of challenges.  Please have patience and understanding as you park and interact in the neighborhood.  We want to demonstrate the Catholic values that run through the SJS community.  Contact Mr. Kelly should you have any questions.  Thanks for all you do.

Specials Teacher Section  You are cordially invited to attend the 7th & 8th Grade Veterans Day program, “American:  This is My Country!”  A public performance will be held on Thursday, November 10th in the gym.  The doors will open at 6:40 p.m., and the performance will begin at 7:00 p.m.  Please join us for an evening of remembrance and gratitude.  To those who serve, THANK YOU!

iVolunteer  Below is a brief description and links for the areas that we most need volunteers in.  Check them out and see if any of these would work for you.

SOAR:  https://stjamesseton.ivolunteer.com/event_266WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO SELL RAFFLE TICKETS AFTER MASSES THIS WEEKEND AND NEXT!

This is a fun way to get involved in one of our schools largest fundraisers. We need help in any of the following ways: transporting donated items to Prep, Cleanup after the dinner on Saturday night, filling water goblets, dismissing dinner guests for dinner, checkout guests. This is a fun easy way to get your volunteer hours completed. If you have high school or college students, please consider having them volunteer as well.

Cafeteria Helper: https://stjamesseton.ivolunteer.com/cafehelp_2023  Cafeteria volunteers help rinse off lunch trays from 11:30-1:15.  This is a great way to get to see your child during the day.
