-Monday May 2nd free will dress down day. Proceeds used for new gym floor.
-Tuesday, May 3rd NEST FEST Backwards Day/school appropriate top backwards with uniform bottom.
-Wednesday, May 4th NEST FEST Holiday Top Day/pull out a shirt that represents your favorite holiday and pair with jeans, wind pants or school shorts.
–Friday, May 6, NEST FEST shirt and uniform shorts, wind/sweat pants, or jeans.
-Monday, May 16th Spirit Dress Down Day.
–Thursday, May 19th Last Day of School! Dress up Day.

VBF Registration is open!!
Monumental: Celebrating God’s Greatness Vacation Bible Fun 2022: June 20th-24th 9:00 am to noon (M-Th) 9:00am to11am(Fri) at St. James /Seton School
● Any child entering Pre-K-4th grade in the Fall of 2022 are welcome to attend!
● Students entering 5th grade – 8th grade in the Fall of 2022 may apply to be a Student Aide in one of the VBF areas.
● Soon to be graduates, high school students, and adults are also needed as classroom teachers and area experts. No experience is necessary…all the materials and plenty of guidance are provided!
● Program will be Thursday at 6:30pm. All students will decorate a t-shirt (provided by parents) to wear at the program.
● Teachers, adult helpers, coordinators, & aides are asked to attend informational meeting on May 24th at 6:00pm/6:20pm at SEA

JOB OPPORTUNITY!!! Do you remember your elementary school lunch lady? Do you like children? Do you like food? If you answered yes to these questions do we have a job for you! SJS Catholic School is currently hiring a Cafeteria Specialist for the 2022/2023 school year. This position has a variety of days available from 9:30-1:30. Duties include minimal food prep, serving lunches, and cleanup. Positive and flexible attitude is a must. VOLLEYBALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR FALL 2022
Register Here: https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/313974 In order to allow teams to begin practice by Aug. 1 of next season we must have registration complete before the end of the year. If your grade level has enough girls to have two teams (An A and a B) we will host tryouts before the end of this school year. Please register by May 6th. If your grade level needs a tryout you will be informed by May 8th. Please register your daughter in the grade they are going into next school year, not their current grade.

PS…. when choosing a uniform size please remember they run small and girls typically like to size up at least 1 size.

Dismissal Your student should go immediately to their ride after school. We provide no supervision, and teachers have a variety of after school responsibilities to attend to, so students should go immediately to their vehicle after school.

Children’s Scholarship of Omaha is a nonprofit organization that funds scholarships to private schools. There are requirements to apply and an application process. We encourage you to pursue this opportunity as the finances would help the school. We are asking all families that request financial assistance from SJS to start with the CSF process. Continued support from SJS funds is contingent upon applying to CSF. You can apply now, and the deadline is May 6th.
