Lunch Update  Monday, March 28th we will be serving Thursday’s Taquito menu (no sunflower seeds) and Thursday, March 31 will be the Corn Dog menu. The special meals will coincide with the menu of that day.

Confirmation   Home and School needs your help!  We need volunteers to help with the 8th-grade Confirmation receptions from adults and students. It is a tradition for 7th graders and their parents to volunteer and “pay it forward” for their Confirmation next year. Cub Scouts Interested in Cub Scouts? Pack 380 wants to invite any interested boys and their families to our April pack meeting on Friday, April 8th starting at 7 pm in the St. James gym.  Any boy entering kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall can join our pack, you don’t have to have been in scouts previously to join.  Questions? – Please contact Robert Klein at rklein18@cox.net or (402) 616-2087.

Needed Due to Covid our drinking fountains are closed.  Students are asked to bring clear water bottles to use through the day.  We are in need of bottled water for students that may forget their own water bottle.  We appreciate any donation.

KidsCare Job Opportunity St. James/Seton School KidsCare is seeking caregivers for the 2022-2023 school year.  Program Hours of Operation: 7:00-7:40 for Morning Program, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm for After School Program.

Covid at home tests  Just a reminder, we have at home tests if that would be beneficial, contact the office.

Children’s Scholarship of Omaha is a nonprofit organization that funds scholarships to private schools.  There are requirements to apply and an application process.  We encourage you to pursue this opportunity as the finances would help the school.  We are asking all families that request financial assistance from SJS to start with the CSF process.  Continued support from SJS funds is contingent upon applying to CSF.  You can apply now, and the deadline is May 6th.

Athletic Scholarship  Now accepting applications for the 2022 Rick Gilbride Memorial High School Scholarship.  Eighth graders who will be going to an Omaha-area Catholic high school in the fall can apply for the 2022 Rick Gilbride Memorial High School Scholarship.  We will present a one-time $500 scholarship to one boy and one girl in this year’s 8th grade class.  To apply, go to https://www.sjsahtletics.com/
