23 September Virtual Backpack

We need your support to make this year’s SOAR development fundraiser a smashing success! We are still very much in need of donations. Many awesome auction items and gift cards have been donated thus far, but we still have a ways to go! If you need ideas on an auction item to contribute, please check out our Auction Wish List! Your contribution to the auction directly benefits our students and staff. The most popular part of our SOAR dinner is the silent auction, but two other portions have a major impact on the night. They are Eagle’s Nest and the Wine & Spirits Pull. After reading about them below, we hope that you can help us out!

Eagle’s Nest
We are seeking gift cards for the Eagle’s Nest for our SOAR Development event! The Eagle’s Nest is a wall of envelopes where participants will have a chance to match or exceed your $20 donation by choosing from one of the many “eggs” in the “nest” that contain various gift cards. The Eagle’s Nest includes gift cards to a variety of popular places around Omaha. We are hoping that the next time you are out to eat or shopping, you consider purchasing a gift card for any denomination and then donate it to SOAR. There will only be so many “eggs” available at the event, so you will need to act quickly.

Wine & Spirits Pull
Your donation of one or more bottles of wine or liquor that is valued between $20-$100, helps to stock our Wine & Spirits Pull at SOAR. Each bottle will be wrapped and displayed prominently at the event. Attendees purchase chances at $20 each to take home a bottle.

If you would like to contribute to SOAR in some way or have any questions, please contact the school office or e-mail thoward@sjsomaha.org. You can also forward any donations to the office marked “SOAR.” The deadline for donations is November 1st. Thanks for all the support!
