| WE NEED YOU!!!
Due to a water line break we lost much of our tissue paper, tissue shreds, ribbon, bows, new small, medium and large laundry baskets we use for SOAR. If you would like to help, send any of these items to school office marked SOAR and we will certainly put them to good use.
The SOAR Committee is working hard putting baskets together. We are in desperate need of auction items, gift cards to restaurants, gift cards to popular places in Omaha, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Target and Walmart to finish them off. |

Save Around Fundraiser Coupon Books Due by October 9th – Please turn back in the book even if you don’t want it!
Dine out for SJS Night at Raising Cane’s Wednesday, October 14th – 4pm to close!!!! A percentage of the sales are donated back to HSA 132nd and Maple
Product Partner Turn In –October 14th Please send your Box Tops, Campbell Soup labels, Godfather Fedoras to school.
Trunk or Treat – October 28th Wednesday, October 28th in the SEA parking lot. All cars must be in the lot by 6:45pm and ready to go by 7.
Halloween Treats-October 28th Wednesday, October 28th. SJS Home and School provides a snack for each student.
Parent Teacher Conference Food 29th This year we are doing box lunches for the staff. If you would like to donate please send to the school office Attn: Jolene Fitzpatrick by Wednesday Oct 14th.
Home and School Meeting – November 4th Wednesday, November 4th at 7:00pm at the SEA Parish Center This is a great opportunity to learn what Home and School is all about!

| BASKETBALL EVALUATION CLARIFICATION
The only group of students with large enough numbers to create two teams was the 7th grade boys. This means that no other grade, or group, has to have evaluations. Due to the uncertain circumstances of how basketball is going to look, and the guidelines PAL is working to adopt for basketball season, we are postponing these evaluations until Oct. 11th from 1:00-2:30 at Roncalli. The only group that will need to attend is the 7th grade boys and they will receive a separate email regarding this process. Sorry for any confusion.

| SJS now has an exclusive relationship with Digiorgio’s Sportswear for our school uniform sweatshirts. So, if you are in need of a new sweatshirt you can go to their website to order:

Digiorgio will then process those orders and even deliver to SJS once a week. If you need to check the sizes you can stop in the school office as we have samples of all the sizes available. Before making any new uniform purchase it is always best to check the school uniform policy.
The only sweatshirt allowed during the school day is a uniform sweatshirt. Spirit wear is not allowed. Thank you.

| The HSA is planning on treating the teachers to a meal again this year during Parent/Teacher conferences. For safety reasons are planning to cater in boxed meals this year. Please send donations to the office addressed to Jolene Fitzpatrick or by Pay Pal to businessoffice@sjsomaha.org |
