Help Us Say Goodbye

At the end of this school year, we will say goodbye to two long standing SJS teachers. Julie Hartman and Tim Potter will be moving on from SJS and while we are excited for their next chapter, they will be greatly missed. Mrs. Hartman has taught at SJS for 39 years. She served as a 1st and 3rd grade teacher and is currently a 5th and 6th grade teacher. Mr. Potter has been with us for 44 years. During his time at SJS, he taught 4th, 5th and 6th grades, and spent 34 years coaching boys basketball.

To celebrate their retirement from education, we would like to show them just how much their time spent at SJS has meant to so many. We are asking for past and present members of our school community to send messages of congratulations, encouragement, thank yous, or notes about how they made an impact. We hope that you can also share this request with current and/or former SJS alumni as well.

If you are interested in participating, we ask that you send your letters, notes, or e-mails to the following address or you are welcome to drop off any messages in the school office:
St. James/Seton School
Attn: Tiffany Howard
4720 N 90th Street
Omaha, NE 68134

All letters will be due by May 1st and will be presented to Mrs. Hartman and Mr. Potter on their last day of school. Please contact Tiffany Howard with any questions or to send email notes of thanks to thoward@sjsomaha.org.

Given that this is a very different kind of school year, we want to do everything we can to send off Mrs. Hartman and Mr. Potter with all our love. Thanks for your participation and for helping to spread the word!
