We will have one extended time for this Book Fair.  Our annual Story Time is Thursday, March 19^th from 6:30-7:15. I will open the Book Fair back up at 4:30 that afternoon and remain open until 8:00 or when the last families leave. Thanks again for your continued support! I met with our Scholastic Rep recently and she was quite impressed with the success of our book fairs – plus we get a lot of new books for the library! Book Fair Hours will be 7:40-8:00 and 3:15-4:00 daily except for Thursday, March 19^th when we will open back up at 4:30 and remain open until after Story Time (approximately 8:00 – or when the last families leave)

The Saint James Seton Athletic Association is proud to announce the creation of a scholarship. All graduating 8th grade students of Saint James Seton who have participated in Saint James Seton Athletic Association-sponsored programs (Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Soccer) and will be entering an Omaha-area Catholic high school in the Fall of 2020 may apply for a one-time, non-renewable scholarship in the amount of $500. A total of two (2) scholarships will be awarded—one to a boy and one to a girl. (A Saint James Athletic Association-sponsored sport includes sports played at other Catholic grade schools when the sport is not offered at Saint James (e.g., soccer at Saint Bernard). It does not include select teams or other clubs.)

To apply, go to Scholarship Documents, and download the scholarship information and application files. Completed applications should be emailed to SJSAAscholarship@gmail.com with the Subject “Scholarship Application – (Insert Student First and Last Name)” by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3rd, 2020.

Registration is $15 if you already have a shirt from last year or $25 (be sure to select both options during registration) if you need a track t-shirt.

We are in need of more parent volunteers for practices and meets.  Please reach out to TJ Burbridge, sjsad17@gmail.comor 402-689-6922, if you are willing  to help out this year.  Some previous coaches are unable to help out this year.

Fall football is open to all 7th and 8th grade boys who attend St. James/Seton school or our PRE program.  Unfortunately, smaller classes and other circumstances have warranted us not have a program the last couple of years.  We would like to gauge the interest in re-starting the program.  I have turned on Football registration on our Athletic website.  There is no cost/commitment at this point to enter your son’s information.  I will leave it open through the spring and if we get enough boys interested, Chris Findall has agreed to return and coach this fall.

The Box tops online app has been very successful in its first year and those using it have submitted $120.00 worth.  THANK YOU for your cooperation and we hope you continue to find those box tops to help provide funds to St. James Seton School.
