Dear SJS Friends & Supporters,

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the decision has been made to postpone Music Bingo Night. It was a difficult choice, but we take the health and safety of our community seriously. Rescheduling will be evaluated as the COVID situation develops. Our intention is to hold the event when appropriate.

We appreciate your heartfelt thoughts and prayers for all those who are impacted. Thank you for your continued support of SJS.

Book Fair

Hello SJS Parents,

As you know, we are in the middle of our Spring Book Fair. Unfortunately, for the safety of our students,

parents, and staff, we will be closed next week.

The two book fairs we have each year are very beneficial to our school. We not only purchase books for the library, we also pay yearly subscriptions to Scholastic Go! (our online encyclopedia) and Bookflix (an alternate way of reading/listening to books). Both of these subscriptions are used by our students daily and purchasing them with book fair profits allows for school funds to be spent on other necessary items. The book fairs benefit every student at SJS.

I wanted to remind you that you can still purchase books from the book fair even if we are not at school. Simply go to scholastic.com/fair and follow the prompts to locate SJS. Once you select St. James/Seton, you are ready to shop! All your purchases will be shipped directly to your homes.

We appreciate all you do for SJS and thank you to all who have already purchased from the fair. We are about halfway to our goal and know that with your help, we can reach it.

	The Saint James / Seton Athletic Association has created a scholarship for 8th grade students of Saint James Seton who have participated in Saint James / Seton Athletic Association-sponsored programs and will be entering an Omaha-area Catholic high school in the Fall of 2020. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded — one to a boy and one to a girl. Submission deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2020. 	Marian Soccer Fan Night Monday, April 6 4:30 p.m. Junior Varsity game 6:15 p.m. Varsity game Come cheer on the Marian soccer teams as they take on Millard South for our Grade School Soccer Night! Wear your school soccer jersey or a Marian t-shirt for free admission. There will be face painting, Marian swag and a raffle drawing. 3-on-3 Soccer Tournament Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 Marian Soccer Field 1st-8th grade divisions, boys and girls Cost: $150 per team Kick it at Marian! Put together a team of up to seven players. You’ll play three games guaranteed. Tournament t-shirts included.
