SAVE THOSE HYVEE RECEIPTS!
HyVee’s Cash for Students program has begun. Start saving those receipts dated September 1, 2017 thru December 31, 2017. HyVee pays $1.00 for every $200.00 spent. You can turn those into the school office or drop them in the H&S plastic tubs at both parishes.
SPEECH MODERATOR NEEDED

The Eagle's Nest was a BIG HIT at last year’s SOAR Dinner!
The SOAR Committee is asking for donations of gift cards to fill our Eagle's Nest for this year’s dinner. We are still in need of silent auction items and if you have any baskets lying around we would love to take them off your hands too. Please forward all donations to the school office, be sure to mark SOAR. Thanks to everyone for helping to make this year’s SOAR Dinner one to be remembered!!!
~It’s not too late to join Cub Scouts. Our pack is opened to all boys’ kindergarten through fifth grade, even if you have never tried scouting before!

- Spirit Wear 2nd Chance! Home and School had requests to open back up the Spirit Wear Sale for those who missed it, so we are doing it! You can purchase items from September 16th until Sunday, September 24th and delivery will be Oct 6th in time for the next Spirit Dress Down day on the 9th! Be sure to keep collecting box tops, Godfather's fedoras, Our Family labels and Family Fare receipts, Tyson labels, and Hy-Vee receipts to turn in soon. But did you know there is a Box Tops app to earn extra box tops? And that you (and all your friends and family) can earn money through the shoparoo app by doing your normal shopping and just scanning your receipts with your phone? ~SJS Crafting Day It’s almost time for our Fall Crafting day sponsored by SJS home and school!!! Whatever craft you have, come and join us Saturday, October 7 from 9am to 10pm at the SEA parish center. Or there are half day options to accommodate your busy schedule. You get your own 5’ round table, lunch and/or dinner, snacks and refreshments throughout the day. Even if you have to leave for a while for another commitment, your things will be safe at your table while you’re gone.
