St. James / Seton Athletic Association is looking for new board members for the 2019-2020 school year!
What is the SJS Athletic Association? We are a self-funded parent organization which sponsors the following competitive programs for St. James / Seton: Volleyball, Football, Basketball, and Track. Our teams are competitive and play in the Parochial Athletic League. The Athletic Association also sponsors the annual Spring Fling, a dinner/auction fund-raiser to support the financial necessities of athletics.
What does the board do? The Athletic Association Board manages all of aspects of the sports programs we support including registration, uniforms, coaching staff, referees, evaluations, and procurement of gym time and space. Board members attend one meeting a month and provide gym supervisor presence at games as needed. Board members also assist with the planning of the Spring Fling Fundraiser and other activities on an ongoing basis. Board members are dedicated volunteers who believe in providing an athletic structure that teaches the fundamentals of sports along with sportsmanship and Christian values.
How do I join? Attend our first meeting of the school year in August. Dates will be posted on our website at http://www.hometeamsonline.
You can also check this link for more information about the Association and our current board members. We will send out additional notifications as the 2019-2020 school year kicks off. 2019 Thompson Basketball Clinic
We are so happy and excited to inform families of this year's camp dates of June 24-28. For 34 years we've been blessed with the opportunity to help countless youngsters, both boys and girls ages 8-15, learn the game of basketball and pursuit their passions in our fun, five-day clinic. We do this in an environment where we honor the game, each other and God. We've had great college players from Creighton, UNO and other programs join us to share the week with our campers and they enjoy it every summer.
Please visit Thompson Basketball Clinic | Home for information and registration. Thank you and we hope to see you soon at TBC 2019!
|Arts for All summer camps will be held July 8th - 12th. See flyers for details.|
TOTUS TUUS - This Summer at St. Elizabeth Ann – July 14-19
Totus Tuus is a Catholic youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through catechesis, evangelization, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship. The goal of Totus Tuus is to help young people grow in the understanding of, and strengthen their faith in, Jesus Christ. It is only by establishing a real and personal relationship with Him who is “the way, the truth, and the life” that we can be led to the love of the Father in the Spirit and so be made sharers in the life of the Holy Trinity, for “no one can come to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
