~April Spotlight Skills: This month we will focus on building the skill 'Accepting Criticism or a Consequence.' Criticism and consequences are a part of everyone's life. Students might hear criticism from others as a result of behavior or work habits. Sometimes students use behaviors that result in consequences. This month we will encourage students to work on positive ways to accept criticism and consequences. Below are the steps to practice this skill with your children at home:
Accepting Criticism or a Consequence
- Look at the person.
- Say “Okay.”
- Stay calm.
