Duchesne Art Show

The following students won awards in the Duchesne Art Show.  There are two levels of awards in this show:  The top award is called the Judge’s Award.  SJS had 2 students that won this award this year!  The other award is the Tres Bien (very good) award.  We have 7 SJS works that won this award!

Teacher Appreciation Teacher appreciation week will be here before we know it!  Check out iVolunteer for opportunities to sign up to help show our teachers our appreciation

SJ Church is looking for volunteers Monday morning at 10:00 AM to help clean up the palm branches off the carpet.  These branches cannot be vacuumed up and need to be hand picked up or raked up.  Bring your own rake if you can.

Confirmation Receptions

April 20th SEA – April 27th SJ - Receptions are being planned immediately following Confirmation Masses at both St. James and St. Elizabeth Ann. It is our hope that this tradition will continue, with the 6th and 7th grade families planning for the event and then being able to relax and enjoy the evening when their son or daughter is confirmed in 8th grade.

Thank you to all those who have been volunteering to help in the many different ways! Parents + School = Winning Team!

~Registration for Vacation Bible Fun (June 25-29) hast started!

The theme for Vacation Bible Fun this year is Shipwrecked: Rescued By Jesus. We will explore how Jesus rescues us when we are worried, lonely, struggling, when we do wrong and when we are powerless.

Vacation Bible Fun 2018:  June 25th - 29th 9:00 am to noon (M-Th)

9:00am to 11am (Fri) at St. James /Seton School

● Any child entering Pre-K-4th grade in the Fall of 2018 are welcome to attend!

● Students entering 5th grade – 8th grade in the Fall of 2018 may apply to be a Student Aide in one of the VBF areas.

● Soon to be graduates, high school students, and adults are also needed as classroom Teachers and Adult Helpers. No experience is necessary…all the materials and plenty of guidance are provided!

● Program will be Thursday at 6:30pm.  All students will decorate a t-shirt (provided by parents) to wear at the program.

● Teachers, adult helpers, coordinators, & aides are asked to attend informational meeting on June 12th at 6:00pm/6:20pm at SEA
