~ St. James/Seton 6th Grade Girl Scout Troop has received the highest honor bestowed upon Junior Scouts, the Bronze Award. Their final project, Totes for Tots, can be seen in the narthex of both St James and St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic churches.

This award was a culmination of two years of work - completing a Girl Scout journey, identifying a need within their community, and then working to construct a solution. Totes for Tots is a book tree "library" for younger children to check out books to enjoy and return after Mass.

Another idea from the troop -- automatic lights in the school bathrooms to conserve energy -- was presented to school administration as part of their journey. This idea was implemented immediately following their presentation.

Please congratulate the following scouts on their achievement: Theresa Berger, Maria Biesanz, Lydia Boyce, Allison Cann, Aly Daniels, Reagan Grave (not pictured), Melany Kreiner, Kaitlyn List and Kyra McWilliams.

~SJS Trunk or Treat Thank you to everyone that RSVP’d and plan to attend Trunk or Treat.  If you plan on decorating your car, there will be about 100 Trunk or Treaters.  See you on Wednesday!
