The SEA Fall Boutique will be here before you know it! Plan to come on Saturday, November 3 between 9am-3pm to shop our vendor booths, stay for lunch at our concession stand, and grab a sweet treat from our bake sale! The more shoppers we have, the more it helps the school!!

SJS Annual Trunt or Treat will take place Wednesday, October 24th @ 7:00 p.m. in SEA parking lot. Trunk or Treat is for students in grades PS thru 6th. The best decorated trunk will win a $50 Marcus giftcard. See flyers for details. RSVP to Stacey Stoffel @stacey_stoffel@ralstonschools.
Bring HOPE into your family’s finances! Remember that school families purchasing HOPE certificates can get tuition credits – 45% of the profits on the purchased gift cards/certificates go to the school family as credits, when the Sycamore number is provided. You can also have relatives or friends provide your number to get you more tuition credit. For St. James school families, the tuition credit is doubled through the St. James Angels of HOPE program. Note that the Angels of HOPE match ends after this academic year! Some families receivehundreds of dollars. SJS Student Senate is hosting a pumpkin contest. Students wanting to participate bring their pumpkin to school Tuesday, October 29th. Pumpkins will be judged by student senate and winners will be placed on the stage. All pumpkins must be taken home 10/31 or they will be disposed of. See flyer for details on the contest.

Beginning Band Olympics
Here are results from Beginning Band Olympics. It went well, and everyone had a great time. We are especially grateful to Chris Segrell and Christ the King School for hosting this event!
All students who took part were winners, as all received certificates, learned some things, and got to play in a large group setting. But, those indicated below do deserve extra recognition, as they won the individual instrument section events.

The St. James Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a trip to Scatter Joy Acres. The gathering will be October 21st from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with a rain out date (if needed) of Oct 28th 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
Kids up to 5th grade and their parents/guardians will be paid for by the Knights.
Tickets will be available after all St. James Masses on October 15th and after morning Masses on October 22nd.
Activities will include: petting zoo, hayrack rides, trails to walk. Hot dogs and s'mores will be provided.
