St. James/Seton School Welcomes New Faculty and Staff

09-05-2013

Lunch Program Update

SJS Welcomes New Faculty and Staff for the 2013-2014 School Year.

Mrs. Arnold, Principal at SJS along with the St. James/Seton School Community would like to take this time to welcome our new faculty and staff as well as share alittle bit about our new members.  Let's meet our new members:

Mrs. Sabrina Clinebell, Jr. High Science Teacher.   Mrs. Clinebell was born and raised in southwest Kansas, near Dodge City.  She obtained her Bachelors from Fort Hays State University and had taught for 30+ years in the public schools.  Her most recent experience was at McPherson County in the sandhills, north and west of North Platte, NE for the past 16 years.  She has two children.  Nick and his wife reside in Hastings, NE and they have four children ages 8, 6, 4 and 2.  Hannah and her husband reside in Omaha and have a child that will soon be 5 months.  Her hobbies include reading, learning and exploring the zoo. Mrs. Clinebell is extremely excited to be here with us.

Mrs. Natalie Ringen, 4th Grade Teacher.  Mrs. Ringen lives here in Omaha with her husband and three year old daughter.  She has taught for 5 years primarily in Special Education.  She is a graduate of the University of Kearney and is currently in the Graduate Program at Concordia University.

Mrs. Theresa Smith, Art Teacher. Mrs. Smith is originally from southern Illinois, near St. Louis. She earned a BS in Advertising with a minor in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. She holds a MA in Secondary Education. She worked in advertising for five years before making the switch to teaching - which is her true love! She lived overseas for six years and has taught in Japan, Belgium, and Spain. Her husband is in the Air Force and they have two sons - Robbie, age 4, and Roman, age 6 months. She attended Catholic grade school in Illinois and is currently a parishoner at St. Columbkille in Papillion.

Mrs. Michele Michaelis, Kindergarten Para. Mrs. Michaelis has been a certified music teacher since December of 1996 and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in music education from UNO. She started teaching in January of 1997 at Saint Stephen the Martyr and enjoyed many years of serving as a music teacher in Omaha Catholic Schools. In December of 2012, she was married at Saint James Church and joined her husband and step-daughters as a parishioner. She joins Mrs. Petty as the Kindergarten Para.

Mrs. Kami Findall, Technology Specialist.  Mrs. Findall grew up in Colorado Springs, CO, however, after spending 25 years living all around the world making  a home wherever the Air Force sent them, she and her retired Air Force husband, Chris, came to make a home in the Midwest in 2008.  Kami received her education from the University of Colorado, Boulder in Business Information Systems.  She spent most of her career as a stay-at-home-mom-volunteering-AF-military-wife, and a substitute teacher.  Her hobbies include volunteering at her children's schools, gardening, sewing, crafts, reading or walking her dog, Tinkerbell.  Kami and her husband, Chris, are parents to three children: Maggie, a sophomore in Architectural Engineering at UNO, Brendan a Junior at Roncalli and Collen, an 8th Grader here at St James/Seton.
